The BBC and an anti Hindu History

I feel uneasy whenever the BBC decides to broadcast programs on Ancient India, two recent broadcasts reflect the general anti Hindu bias built into the BBC. Firstly  "Genius of the Ancient World by Bettany Hughes on the Buddha and "Treasures of the Indus" with Dr Sona Datta on the History of Pakistan. Both avoid talking of the influence of the Sarasvati civilization which dates some 9000 years ago. I would use the term Aryan but that has problems with Europeans since WWII. Bettany does a whole episode on the Buddha without discussing the Hindu culture which produced the Buddha, though plenty Hindu imagery was used. Dr Datta goes on to extol the virtues of the Buddha (him again) Greece and Islam in the 5000 year history of "Pakistan". No mention of the Mahabharat Vedas Sarawati or Aryans (Hindus). I made a similar point to Dr Miles Russell, Senior Lecturer In Archaeology at Bournemouth University, on his article about the Swastika for the BBC Magazine, he replied, he wasn't given the space, and suggested that I write to the BBC myself. I am very tempted to do just that

Shiva, Shivratri and origins of Grammar and Computer code!!

 Shiva stotra is the  root formation of the Sanskrit language and ultimately English. Ask a English scholar the logical reasons for the foundations of the alphabet I am sure you will get a blank, or else help me with this problem. No such problem with the foundations of Sanskrit and its grammar. The famous Hindu ancient grammarian PANNI (4th century BCE)codified it as follows.

I have just expanded shiva but all  four parts are as amazing an exposition of the mathematical foundations of Sanskrit.

Pāṇini's grammar consists of four parts:  

• Śivasūtra: phonology (notations for phonemes specified in 14 lines)   
• Aṣṭadhyāyī: morphology (construction rules for complexes)
• Dhātupāṭha: list of roots (classes of verbal roots)
• Gaṇapāṭha: lists classes of primitive nominal stems

Shiv is the Hindu god of Grammar as studied by Panini his work has been used in computer code and this is no wonder because sanskrit and math were studied as one and the same, by Hindus. But Christian monks who translated Islamic texts removed their Hindu/Pangan sources for fear persecution by the church. The strangle hold of the Church in education was partly relinquished in 1866 when in order to be awarded an Oxford degree you no longer were required to be a member of the church of England. I digress.

Being a Hindu his work is defined as rediscovered!!!

Comparison with modern formal systems (source wiki)

Pāṇini's grammar is the world's first formal system, developed well before the 19th century innovations of Gottlob Frege and the subsequent development of mathematical logic. In designing his grammar, Pāṇini used the method of "auxiliary symbols", in which new affixes are designated to mark syntactic categories and the control of grammatical derivations. This technique, rediscovered by the logician Emil Post, became a standard method in the design of computer programming languages.^[25] Sanskritists now accept that Pāṇini's linguistic apparatus is well-described as an "applied" Post system. Considerable evidence shows ancient mastery of context-sensitive grammars, and a general ability to solve many complex problems. Frits Staal has written that "Panini is the Indian Euclid.". 

Even today much of so called science is in denial of its Pagan Hindu roots, a hangover from the Christian scholars need to develop "Science" when they found their Bible wanting.

English vs Sanskrit

Below is an example of the early use of  English in the Bible, spelling of 500 hundred years ago has changes every 100 years, the Americans have their own spelling the language and grammar is not logical, nor logically thought out, it just happens. Today's English will look like this in another 200 years time but not Sanskrit.

 Sanskrit has not changed in 2500 years and can not change for it is a mathematical language, when Panini 2500 years ago codified it. Sanskrit as Maths where studied in the same logical manner AS ONE, an example of this is Patangil,author of Mahabashya, (a comentery on sanskrit grammer) and in  Chandaḥśāstra presents the first known description of a binary numeral system in connection with the systematic enumeration of meters with fixed patterns of short and long syllables.The discussion of the combinatorics of meter corresponds to the binomial theorem.  Halāyudha's commentary includes a presentation of the Pascal's triangle (called meruprastāra). Pingala's work also contains the Fibonacci number, called mātrāmeru, and now known as the Gopala–Hemachandra number.

Maths the New Religion

We all have heard from the west about Einstein, Hawking, Newton, Galileo and others and many  accept readily what ever they say as the truth, science is about testing the truth and validating observations, and not many can argue with that, so why is western science in particular maths the new religion. The simple truth is mathematics was invented in ancient India as a practical tool for agriculture and navigation, (both used astronomy) it arrived in the west in 1202 via   famous book by an Italian Islamic scholar Fibonacci called "Liber Abaci". Medieval Europe was under the iron fist of the Catholic church, the language of learning was Latin,  the early "universities" where run by monks, the likes of Oxford and Cambridge, they still have that look today that of grand churches. These where strictly Christian institutions where all new knowledge had to be theologically justified as God's Law before it was taught.

The monks toiled to discover the creators perfect grand designs and mathematics was made fit this picture. They turned the purely practical Indian maths, into a complicated but theologically correct version. Ideas of Gods perfect creation, and his eternal laws is how maths is taught today, because maths  holds his eternal truths. Newton even proclaimed himself a prophet when he proposed his  "Laws of motion" . Today Hawkings writes on the origin of creation in a language (maths) ordinary people do not understand, we have to accept believe and have faith in the new edicts from the pulpit of Cambridge for they are the new eternal universal truths.

Hindus and Science

Aryan Scientific Contribution to Europe and other World Civilizations
Prior to Industrial Revolution

Many eyebrows were raised at the title of this seminar. Deep rooted
disbelief that how can earlier civilizations can be contributors to
any “Science”, as we understand it today? Science means rational,
logical, objective thinking, something which did not exist in the
earlier people in adequate quantity. The life of these earlier people
was governed by religion i.e. superstition, which is inherently,
devoid of “scientific temper” and ‘free will”, the hall mark and
pre-requisite of scientific development. Once this premise is accepted
without debate, then West as birth place of all Science is the forgone
conclusion.
Religion as anti science is 100% a modern western construct and we
need to understand this thoroughly well. Religion in this case is
Christian religion and Science means modern Western science. This
incompatibility of religion with science in the West automatically
gets grafted on non-Western religions and their relation with science.
Concept of Religion in West and East differs radically in many
respects. In the Western concept of religion, it must have a Prophet
and a Book and the followers must abide by the teaching of both. In
the eastern religion specially Hinduism, the concept of Dharma ,
incorporates no single Prophet or book and followers are free to
choose , accept or reject philosophy of life, which suits them best
